Book coaching involves working one on one with you, hand in hand. Please note that I have different coaching processes for different types of books. I am sharing a generic process. Depending on the type of book we write, additional steps may be required to complete the book.
MY MESSAGE – POWERED BY ME: Why are you writing this book?. You will transfer your WHY to paper so that it will inspire you throughout your writing journey.
PLAN WHAT WE WRITE: We brainstorm about the important ideas for the book. We brainstorm using mind mapping. We will hone the ideas to crisp relevant points.
ORGANIZE OUTLINE: Using lean six sigma tools applicable to your book, we will organize the relevant ideas to create an effective outline.
TITLE SELECTION: My marketing person does an analysis of Google Trends and Amazon analysis to find keywords for the title so that your book shows up higher in the searches.
WRITING PLAN: We will create an easily executable writing plan that will allow you to complete your book in a realistic timeframe. It also prepares you to build inspiration sources for your writing journey. We will be reviewing the book together as you continue writing and I will be providing you feedback to ensure that the book goals stay on track.
WRITING A ROUGH DRAFT I will share with you tricks of the trade so that you can write your first draft with ease and as painless as possible. We will be reviewing the book together as you continue writing and I will be providing you feedback to ensure that the book goals stay on track.
WRITING THE INTRODUCTION: I will share with you how to write a stellar introduction because the introduction is what makes people buy your book on Amazon and the reader continues reading eagerly. EDITING AND FORMATTING: I will share how can you self-edit effectively so that the copy-editing costs can stay low.
